Filled Kohlrabi



My attempt at creating a new recipe!

Ingredients:
3 large, or 6 small kohlrabies
400-500 g beef mince
2 tbs oil
2-3 medium onions, diced
2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 teas cumin powder
1/2 tbs coriander powder
dash of oregano powder
1/2 cup tomato paste
1,5 cups vegetable stock
1/2 cup Jasmin rice
salt, pepper to taste
Parmesan to garnish
Method:
Peel kohlrabies, halve large ones, and take the flesh out with a spoon, leaving 8mm shell around. Microwave them for 8 min, covered with a plastic wrap (or cook them).
Heat oil, add onions. Saute for 5 min, then add garlic and mince. Stir fry until mince loose pink colour. Add all the spices, rice and vegetable stock. Cook for 20-25 min, or until rice cooked. Stir trough tomato paste and check the taste.
Spoon filling into kohlrabi shells, grate some Parmesan cheese on top and serve.

Punjena Keleraba

Potrebno:
3 vece ili 6 malih kekeraba
400-500 gr mljevenog mesa
2 K ulja
2-3 srednja crvena luka, sjeckana
2-3 cena bijelog luka, protisnuta
1 k kima u prahu
1/2 K korijandera u prahu
prstohvat origana u prahu
1/2 solje gustog paradajz sosa
1,5 solja 'Vegeta' supe
1/2 solja Jasmin (duguljaste) rize
so i biber prema ukusu
Parmezan za posuti
Nacin:
Ogulite kelerabu. Vece prepolovite, pa izdubite ostavljajuci stjenke oko 8 mm. Skuhajte ih u vodi ili pokrijte prozirnom folijom i pecite u mikrovalnoj oko 8 min.
Zagrijte ulje, proprzite luk. Dodajte meso i bijeli luk, pa przite dok meso ne izgubi pink boju. Dodajte sve ostale zacine, rizu i 'supu'. Kuhajte, mijesajuci oko 20-25 min, ili dok riza ne omeksa. Ubacite sos i provjerite ukus. Filujte kelerabu, pospite parmezanom i sluzite.
